So as a Canadian baby boy who is definitely athletic, I wanted to capture this moment of THE event of the Olympics:  the men's final hockey game in which the Canadian's won the gold!  It wasn't nearly as dramatic as the final game at the Vancouver Olympics, but it was still the absolute best final outcome. I am still amazed sometimes by how small Little Bean looks in photos, because he feels so big and heavy to carry around all the time.  All 19 pounds of him.  Notice Granny's solution for keeping the drawers of her chest unopenable for little hands!

I got a new computer this week since my previous one is 8 years old and I was starting to have some issues with it.  I thought that getting a new one now would help with getting prepared for going back to work, which I will have to do once this idyllic little maternity leave stretch has come to an end, sigh.  I wish I had the option of not going back to work, but I don't.  My mind is ever trying to come up with ideas of how this might be possible though so eventually I might find a way.

Anyway back to the new computer.  So far it is awful!!  I didn't get a touch screen because the non-touch screen was on sale and frankly I really didn't think I needed it for the kind of work I do.  I also thought it would be far too easy for Little Bean to swat at and cause havoc with just one swing.  But it seems to still have a menu as though it was a touch screen plus a menu like my old computer and it switches at any given moment between one and the other.  It is beyond frustrating.  I'll give it a few more days to see if I get the hang of it and if not I'll have to go back to the store to talk to them about it again.  What a time waster.  Does anyone else find all these continual new programs and features so annoying?
