Bean turned one!

Bean turned one this month!  We had a terrific celebratory dinner at our place with just family.  I had thought I would have another separate one for friends but it is proving harder to find the time and energy to organize and so I am now thinking that maybe we will save it for next year.  In addition to the party we had visits in the following days from several friends bearing one year birthday gifts and well wishes, so I do feel that Bean's first year was properly marked and celebrated.  Happy first birthday my love!  We'll do the cake smashing next year :-)
